A patient with a history of schizophrenia has been seeing a therapist regularly. As the nurse assigned to do his follow up assessment, he states, "To be honest, I've completely stopped taking the meds they gave me. I really don't trust those drugs. I've been using more homeopathic and herbal meds to help me." What would be your response to his statement?
