In the Bohr model of the hydrogen atom, the electron is in orbitabout the nuclear proton at a radius of 7.29 x 10-11 m, a slightlylarger orbit around the single proton in the nucleus as fromproblems from before. Determine the speed of the electron, assumingthe orbit to be circular, knowing the Coulomb force and thecentripetal force of moving in a circular orbit. Set the Coulombforce equal to the centripetal force and solve for v, the speed ofthe electron.
