2. A coil, of resistance 35 2 and inductance 0.02 H, carries a current of 326.5 mA, when connected to a 400 Hz a.c. supply. Determine the supply voltage. 3. A 22 nF capacitor, and a 3.9 k2 resistor, are connected in series across a 40 V, 1 kHz supply. Determine, (a) the circuit current, (b) the circuit phase angle and (c) the power dissipated. 4. A 470 resistor is connected in series with a 0.02 u F capacitor, across a 15 V a.c. supply. If the current is 28 mA, calculate (a) the frequency of the supply, and (b) the p.d. across the capacitor.
