Exercise 4 Two capacitors C₁ and C₂ are connected in parallel. The second capacitor has capacitance C₂= 1-10 F, the first is a vacuum capacitor, with surface plates S= 600 cm², placed at a distance à 3 mm. Initially, the system of the two capacitors is charged with a constant electromotive force generator Vo = 400 V placed in parallel to C₁ and C₂. Subsequently the generator is disconnected and the space between the plates of the capacitor C₁ is filled with a dielectric of relative dielectric constant < = 80. Calculate: a) the charge variation in the C₁ capacitor; b) the variation of potential at the ends of C₂; c) the work of the field forces in the filling process.
