Read this article on Research Ethics for Ethnography:https://cuny.manifoldapp.org/read/untit ... a5f1054205(Links to an external site.). Using the discussion on transparency, consent, and protecting sources, draft a letter to your potentialinterviewee that 1) explains your plans for Project 2 (what theassignment is, where it will be disseminated, how you will handleanonymity, etc.); 2) explains the purpose and format of theinterview you’d like to do, and 3) asks for their consent toparticipate. Think of this letter as the initial contact emailbetween you and your interviewee. With your submission of theletter, please also include a brief (100-150 words) statement onwhat decisions you made and why.
