Was there a statistically significant difference in the age ofmale and female arrestees in New York in 1989? Use the Rikers 1989data file in SPSS or PSPP to carry out an Independent Samples ttest to compare the average age of male arrestees to the averageage of female arrestees.
Report the following: (1) mean age of males, (2) mean age offemales, (3) value of the t statistic, (4) the probability (or sig)of the difference.
