In EC202, we will study the individual units of the society; theconsumer and the producer and their interactions in differentmarket structures ranging from competition tomonopoly. Students will also analyze the influence of thesemarket structures on social welfare. In addition, studentswill be asked to reflect on the competing economic and ethicalconcerns of minimum wage legislation, taxation, provision of publicgoods and environmental protection.
