Water is discharged by a pump from a reservoir to a tank throughan open system of cast iron piping with a flow rate of 800 l/min at20°C. The level of the tank is kept constant above 6 meters abovethe level of the reservoir. The inner diameter of the cast ironsteel pipe from the reservoir to the pump is 8 cm. From the pump tothe open tank, iron pipe steel with an inner diameter of 6 cm isused. Information about piping and equipment is given in thefigure. Since the efficiency of the pump is 0.85, it can calculatethe power of the pump. Standard tables and diagrams that can beused to solve the problem. 1 HP = 746 Watts.
