QUESTION 3 25 points Figure 38 shows part of the wall frame system used in the construction of a childcare centre. The system shows internal wall studs and noggings Structural cladding, which is not shown in the illustration, is nailed on both sides of the frame. The wall studs are of grade MGP10 and have a cross-section of 190x35mm. The childcare centre is to be built in Port Lincoln, South Australia using seasoned Western Hemlock. The wall studs are 4.8m high and have intermediate restraints, only in the direction shown in Figure 38. As part of the combined action check for the wall studs, ONLY determine the following: a. Nd.cx and b. Nday Note: Gepermanent load from roof: Quimposed load from roof during construction and Wywind load (other than wind action reversal).
