A steady flow Carnot cycle uses water as the working fluid. The quality of the vapor at the inlet and the exit of the evaporator are 0.1 and 0.9 respectively. This evaporator is operated at the pressure of 6.5 MPa. If the heat rejection takes place at the condenser at the pressure of 8 kPa, and this cycle can deliver the power of 5 MW, therefore: a. Draw the T-S diagram of this cycle b. Determine the temperature of the evaporator C. Determine efficiency of the cycle d. Determine the amount of the heat injected and rejected during the evaporation e. Determine the mass flow rate of the steam needed to deliver the power mentioned above.
