A horizontal antenna of length lamda/2 at f= 200 MHz is to be installed on the roof of the IST at a certain height h. The radius of the wire is (10^-5)xlamda. The relative dielectric constant of the floor is 10 and it is assumed that the roof acts as Perfect Electric Conductor (PEC). The height h is to be selected such that the reactive part of the impedance should be zero and real part between 50 and 100 ohms. Due to mechanical constraints the height h has to be greater than 0.5 lamda. What should be the length of the antenna and height h of the antenna from the floor?
