The aluminum substrates are welded using a fillet weld with a cross-sectional area = 25.0 mm2. = a) If the welding power used is 3200 W, determine the travel speed at which the welding operation can be accomplished. b) If the metal to be welded is high carbon steel with melting factor = 0.60 and melting temperature Im= 1650°K. Determine the welding power required to weld the high carbon steel substrates at the same travel speed obtained in (a). = c) From the power result in part (b), if the welding voltage = 20 volts, determine the value for the current in the operation.
