I want a response please
This is week 2 the progress is the same as in week 1. If I’mhonest after reviewing the APA doctoral dissertation template Ifound that my previous submission is not in line with thisdocument. My progress is negative right now. I have gone back toensure the information I am adding to the above APA format is whatis expected.
The new format is not a barrier, but it is a complication andwill be time consuming to say the least. This document has its prosand cons, but I will make it work. I noticed from the beginningthat the first two pages were different. These pages asked for moreinformation as well as there is now a dedication and aacknowledgment page where there wasn’t one before. The table ofcontent page is labeled for you whereas 11 years ago you would havehad to create your own. The titles that are in the new templet aresome of the same titles in the old, but the issue is some of thetitles are combined differently in the old template than in thenew. The barrier for this issue is now I need to re-write theentire proposal to ensure that it will meet the expectations of thenew template.
My thought process is a barrier as I was thinking that this willbe an easy process for me as I was finished righting my proposal soall was required from me would be submitting that for approval andmoving on to the next step, but that was not the outcome. Thisprocess has become more difficult than I thought. A month ago, Ispent my time rewriting my proposal to update the references whichwas a lot of work. Now I feel that it was a waist of my time when Ishould have waited until I started this class or accessed thetemplate to ensure that the work, I was doing wasaccurate.
All the barriers are due to changes that were made over time andself-inflicted. Although this is a bit tedious, I am beingre-introduced to my topic and the issues that I found withdissemination of information, and I am just as intrigued as I wasback then. The disconnect between the levels due to the lack ofinformation is amazing. It is also amazing to see how many otherpeople who has thought about this same topic and has beeninterested enough to write about it. It will be difficult to lineup the research to the outline, but it will be energizing at thesame time. Chapter 1-3 will be corrected in this week andresubmitted to correct my previous submission. The barriers that Ihave encountered has been an eye opener for me and I hope it hasbeen the same for others. I am taking this as an opportunity andnot a restriction.
