Intracellular signaling molecule 3′,5′-cyclic adenosinemonophosphate (cAMP) plays an important role in the signalingcascade. Production of cAMP is controlled through the adenylylcyclase family of enzymes, which convert adenosine triphosphate(ATP) to cAMP and inorganic pyrophosphate.
As a researcher, your goal is to quantitate the amount of cAMPpresent in the test sample that has been provided to you. Yoursupervisor has requested you to come up with TWOindependent Approaches (methods) to meet your goal. Yoursupervisor has provided you with the test sample, pure cAMP, andantibody against cAMP. You can make any kind of modifications tothe reagents provided (except the test sample) or generate your ownreagents. For each of the two independent methods, please answerthe below questions.
