CASE STUDY 3: DECIDING A DOG BITE BOY SUIT INVOLVING STR ANALYSIS On Saturday, September 28, a young boy was bitten by a large black dog on the corner of Fifth Avenue. Investigating the situation further, police officers learned that a neighbor has a large black dog that often barks ferociously at people walking down the street. The owner maintained that the dog made a lot of noise but was basically friendly. The officers, however, discovered a substance, which appeared to be blood, on the dog's collar.
