Sequential carboxypeptidase digestion produces Ser. iii. Sanger degradation on heptapeptide P gives compound Q. iv. V. O₂N O₂N Tripeptide T: Leu, Ala, Tyr Tripeptide U: Gly, Phe, Lys CO₂H Incubation of compound P with trypsin gives tetrapeptide R and tripeptide S. Tetrapeptide R: Tyr, Ala, Lys, Leu Tripeptide S: Phe, Ser, Gly Incubation of compound P with chymotrypsin gives tripeptide T, tripeptide U and Ser.
