(b) (20 marks) An analytical chemist has measured the arsenic concentration of ten samples of water from the Waikato River. The results are shown in Table 1. Perform a suitable statistical analysis to determine the concentration of arsenic within a confidence interval of your choice. Give justifications for any assumptions or choices you have make. How many more measurements would the analytical chemist need to make to reduce the confidence interval by a factor of 2 (i.e. ½ the value that you chose).
