7.7 Procedures 1. Connect the three-phase transformer as shown in the figure 7.1 2. For the secondary load use the table below using purely resistive load TRANSFORMER SECONDARY LOADS TRIALS LOAD 1 LOAD 2 LOAD 3 1 300 ohms 300 ohms 300 ohms 2 600 ohms 600 ohms 600 ohms 3 1200 ohms 300 ohms 600 ohms 4 300 ohms 300 ohms 1200 ohms 3. Turn on the power supply. Gradually Increase the voltage on the primary side by 120V. 4. Read the values of Al up to A6 and Record the result on table 7.1. Turn off power supply and return voltage to zero. 5. Repeat Steps 2 to 4 using the table above for purely inductive load 6. Read the values of Al up to A6 and Record the result on table 7.2 7. Repeat Steps 2 to 4 using the table below for purely capacitive load 8. Read the values of Al up to A6 and Record the result on table 7.3 9. Repeat Steps 2 to 4 using the table below for combination loads. 10. Record the result on table 7.4.
