Consider the FM modulation of the signal m(t) = Am cos(2π fmt),
with Am= 2V and fm = 10 kHz. The carrier has frequency fc = 100 kHz
and Ac = 10 V.
(1) (a) [FR3] Provide a block diagram of the modulator and
demodulator, explaining the values of all relevant
parameters;
(1) (b) [FR3] Find the value of the modulator frequency sensitivity
constant kF [Hz/V] so that there is no
transmitted power at the carrier frequency;
(1) (c) [FR4] Let 2Bf m be a bandwidth such that the frequencies f
present in the modulated signal satisfy | f − fc| < Bf m. For
each Bf m, the power Pf contained in the range of 2Bf m is
calculated. Under these conditions, fill in the table below and
detail your calculations on the FR4
