Would you support a tax on beverages with added sugar-
why or why not? How about a "junk food" tax- what criteria or
certain foods would you include? Does the public have the right to
legislate actions that could reduce the financial burden of the
obesity epidemic? We have laws restricting and taxing sales of
alcohol and tobacco. Some people argue this takes away our personal
choice freedom, but others argue that they help people make choices
that improve the health of our children and future
generations. Do you think that these taxes
would help with the obesity problem or not? Do you have any other
ideas to help fight the obesity epidemic in the United
States?
