The pressure and temperature of steam that flows into high- pressure turbine is 10 MPa and 800°C. Steam enters the low-pressure turbine at 1 Mpa and temperature of 500°C. The water flows out of condenser at 10 kPa of pressure as saturated liquid. a. Sketch the T-s diagram. Show all processes. [4 marks] b. Calculate the specific work input to the pump. [5 marks] c. Determine the turbine specific work output. [11 marks]
