1. In the development of a business or project plan,
when should you start planning for implementation? Why?
2. The organization that I am currently employed by is the
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). The health care organization
(HCO) does have ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs), which is the
topic my group has selected. Every organization is different in
regards to its culture and design, both which can influence a
business plan. The design of the organization involves aspects such
as decision-making processes, responses to positive employee
behavior, organization of units, and job qualifications (Moseley,
2017). For example, in my current department within LVHN, the team
leads, supervisor, manager, and director are given the primary
authority over decision-making. Depending on the decision being
made, it could either be delegated to the director (highest level)
or one of the team leads (the lowest level of leadership). However,
many decisions they make are made together. For example, if one of
them wants to implement a new plan to change a workflow process,
then all of the leadership team will discuss it together in order
to get everyone’s input. On the other hand, the business plan
impacts the organization in how it can function as well. For
example, a business plan could have a call to action for monitoring
over a new process. Then, it would have to delegate who would be in
charge of that.
2. According to the statement above what can one agree or
disagree with?
