In a lab, I am trying to extract a STRONG ACID (a carboxylic
acid), a WEAK ACID (an alcohol which has a weakly acidic proton), a
BASE (an amine), and a NEUTRAL compound (a non-polar organic
compound) in order ot further purify them. We used a diethyl ether
was used as a solvent. Name five other solvents that
probably could have been used instead of diethyl ether for
extraction in this experiment.
