A policy can be characteristic of multiple policy types.
A discipline-specific policy can be codified as health, public,
institutional, and organizational policy. Cite a discipline
(nursing, leadership, etc.) specific policy that can be codified as
representative of multiple types of policy (ex. smoking bans could
be classified as all types, think about policies related to COVID
19 – these encompass multiple levels of policies!).
Discuss which stakeholders could/should influence the
development of this specific policy.
Describe the organizational and/or legislative actions
that influenced the formulation of that policy. Discuss public
acceptance/reaction to these policies; include steps for education
when implementing policies that influence multiple stakeholder
levels.
