A patient is ordered a bolus dose of a medication of 1 mg/ min
for 30 minutes followed by a continuous dose of 30 mg/ hour from a
solution of 2 grams of drug in 1000 mL of normal saline. Calculate
both the bolus and continuous rates of infusion.
