Problem 4: 36 points I cook (anticuchos) lots of beef heart ($2 a pound). It is fun to feed Gabey raw heart because he will jump off the ground. I was curious if the amount i offered him would get him to jump higher. Below is some data 8 80 100 120 60 Grams of Raw Heart 2 In table form the data is below. The correlation between grams and height is 87% Heart (grams) Height (inches) n 20 20 mean 52,5 7.5 standard Dev 29.5 2.0 (5pts) Not knowing how much heart i offered him how high would you expect him to jump? What would your 95% confidence interval be? (6pts) Build a linear model to use the grams of heart offered to predict how high Gabey will jump. (5pts) What would your prediction be if you gave him 50 grams of heart? (2pts) Can you find the standard error of the residuals of the linear model from the data above? If not you can just use the symbol Se. (6pts) Do we have enough evidence to say the number of grams offered will effect how high he jumps (use a = 5%). (6pts) If we give Gabey 50 grams of heart right now what is your 95% confidence interval for your prediction on how high he will jump? (6pts) If we give Gabey 50 grams of heart everyday for a year what is your 95% confidence interval for your prediction on how high he will jump on average?
