You will select one public health related
change you would like to see in this organization, for example a)
positioning of hand sanitizer throughout the department or building
or b) creation of a policy for child care service within the
organization. This organization can be one you work at or another
you can research extensively.
The change you propose may occur at any level of the
organization or throughout the organization. You must understand
the structure of the organization and who will be involved in
ensuring the change is successful within that setting.
You will propose the change by considering all of the
following:


Leadership roles and Systems thinking, - who are the decision
makers, how will this change align with the organization’s mission/
values etc.
Interprofessional skills and communication needed for change to
be successful,
Evidence on implementing this public health related
change within an organization (example, interpret evidence for
sound decision-making),
Change model (example, Kotter’s) to outline how this change
will occur within the organization- example, what levels are to be
involved and would be affected,
Implementation and evaluation of the change (how would
you measure if the change was effective- tools).
