response this peer post with a reference please. Medical tourismis going outside of the country of residence for the purpose of receiving medical care. people are doing this to receive the same treatments in less developed countries at a cheaper cost. I do believe that the government should monitor this because issues of safety and quality are not the same here in the U.S.
