Mr. K.O is a 68 year old gentleman who attends a planned
appointment at the hypertension clinic. He has had a history of
hypertention for the last 2 years which he is managed with
nefidipine slow release 20mg twice a day and lisinopril 10mg daily.
The lisinopril was increased from 5mg to 10mg on his last visit to
the clinic a month ago to improve control of his Bp. Mr K O has
type 2 diabetes which is being managed with diet and life style
changes. His presenting complaint is a swollen mouth which he
developed a few days ago. He was seen at the accident and emergency
department by his GP who prescribed prednisolone tablets for five
days to reduce the swelling. Mr K.O was adviced that the swelling
might be caused by his tablet but was not informed which of them
were responsible.
Question:
