Hunter has been completing research for his environmental
science class. During the course of his studies, Hunter reviewed
some of the requirements for becoming an occupational health and
safety specialist. He was very interested to learn about the
educational requirements as well as the projected job growth in his
area. Hunter has been studying biology and will graduate in May
with his bachelor’s degree. He plans on searching for a job within
the local, state, or federal government after graduation. Because
of Hunter’s anticipated degree completion, he will be eligible for
graduate safety practitioner (GSP) designation. GSP designation is
