QUESTION 1 - (USE CASE DIAGRAM) My name is Mandy. I own a hair salon and have heard what a great bunch of requirements engineers you are, so I have asked you to design a system for me. The following is the procedure of what happens in my salon: Since my salon is a unisex salon, both males and females engage with the receptionist to book an appointment. This should now also be available online for the client to book their own appointment. They will need to register to be able to do this, if not already registered. When my clients enter the salon, the receptionist checks for the client's details on the system. If the client is new, the client is registered on the system. For clients with appointments, the receptionist will check appointments and then alert the stylist the appointment was made this should be done on the new system to avoid shouting across the room, as I want my clients to have peace of mind. If upon checking appointments, there is no appointment for the client, then the receptionist checks to see if any of the stylists are free. If someone is available then that stylist is alerted (remember what I said about noise...) and she takes the client through. Once the client is seated in the salon, the stylist asks what service the client would like done on her/his hair. The stylist enters this on the system. A stylist has to indicate the end of a service on the system. If satisfied, the client pays for the service. If for some terrible reason, the client is not satisfied with the service performed, she/he submits a complaint. The stylist tries to sell the client some product. If the sale is successful, the hairdresser gets a commission for the sale. Also the stock-on-hand

If for some terrible reason, the client is not satisfied with the service performed, she/he submits a complaint. The stylist tries to sell the client some product. If the sale is successful, the hairdresser gets a commission for the sale. Also the stock-on-hand must be reduced, this is done with the assistance of an external Inventory System (IS). If the stylist is unsuccessful with a sale, she gets an endorsement for more sales training. Any service performed and/or product sold needs to be entered into system by the stylist not the receptionist As the owner, I need to view a report of all the services performed and print out a report of all the stock that has been sold. At 5pm, on the last day of every month, the system displays the stylist with the most sales. Whether paying for a service and/or product, my clients have an option of payment type: Cash, Credit Card or Cheque - I would like to keep this information. The client pays the receptionist when making payments and then goes on their way, a new, relaxed and hopefully happy person. The receptionist maintains all details about products and services onto the system. I.I. Draw a Use Case diagram for the above statement.
