How does a nurse make decisions about what to delegate?
Delegation is a complex and very important nursing skill. It
requires clinical judgment and accountability for patient care. The
topic of delegation was already touched upon in the MA BORN
discussion I in NUR 475 Practicum. Essential to delegation is the
ability to be cognizant of the scope of practice that is different
for licensed and unlicensed healthcare providers.
