A cyclist accelerated uniformly from rest with an acceleration of 1.2 m s² for 5.0 s. The cyclist then continues at a constant velocity for 10.0 s before stopping pedalling and then decelerating uniformly to rest over a further 30 m. i. Sketch a velocity time graph for the cyclist's journey. Show full working out for the relevant velocities and times to be shown on your graph. ii. Determine the distance travelled by the cyclist. L [ iii. Describe, without calculation, the resultant force acting on the cyclist in the first 15 s.
