8. The setup on the opposite page is part of an old-fashioned overhead projector, allowing the projec- tion of images onto a wall. A flat mirror is angled at 15 degrees from the horizontal (its reflective surface faces down in the diagram). Light then falls through a convex lens, as shown. The focal points of the lens and its center line are also indicated. Using the thin-lens approximation (or otherwise), construct the final image location of the point marked 'X' when seen through the lens and reflected by the mirror. Your final diagram should clearly show all the light rays you drew in order to construct the final image, as well as any intermediate images. Finally state whether the final image is real or virtual and explain how you know. [10 points]
