A U-shaped tube, that is initially open to the atmosphere at
both ends, is filled with water. The leg on the right side is now
sealed with a lid. Oil is then added to leg on the left. The
liquids settle in equilibrium as shown in the figure, while the
pressure above the water in the right leg is 1,044 x 105 Pa.
Determine the density of the oil (in kg m-3).
