This week we focus on utilitarianism, which says that
one ought to do whatever
maximizes overall happiness or utility. In
the lecture videos, I canvas several objections to each theory. Do
you think one or more of these objections provides a compelling
reason to reject one of these two theories? Alternatively, can you
think of a compelling defence of one of these theories in response
to one or more of the objections levelled against it?
