Which of the following teachers are using foundational practices in interventions known to be effective for young children? Ms. Katz has recently began actively scanning her classroom multiple times each hour and offering more positive attention when students were observed engaging in appropriate behaviors. Mr. Conley recently removed preferred activities from his preschool classroom, limited the number of choices the students could make during the day, and began to implement time-out as a punishment strategy for inappropriate behavior. Ms. Strain has identified the tasks that are more challenging for the students in her preschool class and the more preferred activities and has decided to begin every morning with the challenging tasks and leave the more preferred tasks for the afternoon.
