Jimmy’s health is deteriorating. Last
week Jimmy received a new wheelchair based on his physical needs to
be more independent in his activity of daily living. Your
supervisor has now asked you to provide feedback on the new
wheelchair/service that has been trialled by the client and needs
to be presented to Centre manager
Today you noticed Jimmy does not want
to go to the garden. He has complained about the wheelie walker
being heavy when he walks. You have provided him with an
alternative Wheelchair. Jimmy was happy to go to the garden in the
wheelchair. You reported Jimmy’s complaint about the wheelie walker
to your supervisor. You now must write a progress note to document
it for the staff in next shift.
