(1 TeV = 10¹2 eV) At this energy, the protons are moving with a speed of 0.999999991c. At these energies, the proton mass of 938 MeV/c² is negligible. Suppose that this beam encounters a potential energy step: x≤0 regionl U(x 0 3TeV x>0 region II A) What is the momentum of the protons in region I and in region II? B) Write a wave function in both regions in terms of k, k', and normalization constants. C) Calculate k and k'.
