Therefore, the botanist's plant must be one of the following four genotypes: GGRR, GgRR, GGRr, or GgRr. a) Perform a test cross with all the possible genotypes given in the question and give the expected phenotype ratios for each cross. (Hint: make sure you understand what a "test cross" is.) b) When the botanist performs a test cross with the unknown pea plant, he determines that phenotype ratio of the offspring is 1 round, green: 1 wrinkly, green.
