She most recently has been admitted to the ER with a lung infection and Staphylococcus aureus in her blood. The patient has WBC counts (59,000/mm3) and a higher than normal population of neutrophils. 1. Further tests reveal that the patient has Leukocyte adhesion deficiency (LAD). What is LAD? (2) 2.
