How does the air pressure in a sound wave vary with distance? 14. Sound waves from inside a room are moving towards an open window. The width of the window opening is about 1.5 meter. Explain which sound will diffract more at the window: high-pitch music at a frequency of 5000 Hz or people talking at a frequency of 120 Hz.
