Three-point charges are located on a circular arc with radius R=4.00cm, as shown in figure. *** (a) What is the total electric field at P, the center of the arc? i. Draw a diagram and show the directions of the electric field vectors at P. Find the magnitude and direction of the total electric field at P. ii. (b) Find the electric force that would be exerted on a -5nC point charge placed at P. (c) Using the initial three-point charge distribution (as shown in figure), find: i) the electric potential at P and, ii) the work required to bring a fourth charge, 4nC, from infinity to point P.
