Two objects are travelling head on a flat
frictionless surface. Object A has mass 0.2kg and is moving
from left to right with speed 0.2m s−1 and Object B has mass
0.5kg and is moving from right to left with speed 0.3m s−1 . The
objects collide and stick together. Find their combined speed
and direction of motion after the collision.
