79 12 A foil of 196.8592mg of gold with Au (100%) was irradiated for 10.788 d in a Nuclear Research reactor with a thermal neutron flux of 1.00 x1012 neutrons cm2 sandproduced Au (t₁/2 = 2.697d). After irradiation, the foil was allowed to decay for Iday. The thermal neutron cross section for Au is 98.8b. Mass excess of'n, Au and Au are 8.071431, -31.150 and -29.591 MeVrespectively. NA= 0.6022 x 1024 mol¹, 1u-931.48 MeV. 198 79 197 197 Write the nuclear reactions during irradiation. (b) Calculate the Q-value of the reaction.
