An electrical heater is being used in this case. It was determined that 5.0 kW of energy input are necessary to change the outlet temperature by 1°C. Determine the transfer function with respect to change in heater input (kW). 3. A thermocouple with a time constant of 0.5 min and a gain of 1 is being used for measurements (the thermocouple is installed inside the tank). a. For step change of the temperature of the input flow to 45°C, determine and graph the variation of the temperature in the tank and the readings of the thermometer. Place both curves on one graph (Matlab). b.
