The allowable compressive and shear stress's of the rock foundation are 3500 KN/m² and 2500 KN/m², respectively. Both the allowable compressive and shear stress's of the concrete is 3500 KN/m². The specific gravity of concrete is 2.4. Also the specific gravity of water is y=9810 N/m³. The length of the dam normal to the picture (figure) is 1 m.
