A roadway is to be built through the mountains cutting slopes and stabilizing them. Soil sample was taken out from top of the mountains for various physical and mechanical testing. Condition of the initial soil sample obtained through boring is given in the figure below, 9 20 16 8 7 XXI a 15 30
