With a threshold made at a height (Δz=1.5m) that will cause a regime change, it has been ensured that there is no translation in the hydraulic splash that will occur at the end of the under cover flow.

a) Find the unit flow rate it passes through.

b) Find the required door opening.

c) Find the water height at the upstream.

d) Sheet pile is driven under the cover and the water depth is given as 15m and hu=2.5m on the upstream side of the cover, so check whether the threshold is floating or not. (γ=2.4 t/m3)
