As shown in the figure, water is pumped from one tank to another
using a pump. The water surface of the lower tank is exposed to the
atmosphere, the pressure (absolute pressure) of the upper tank is
150 kPa, and the height difference between the two water surfaces
is 20 m. When the flow rate is 0.02 m3/s, the total head loss in
the entire pipeline is 10 m. If the efficiency of the pump is 90%,
what is the required pump power (shaft power of the pump)?
Atmospheric pressure is 101.3 kPa.
